Communication was fantastic and we are so happy with the result! They were also flexible in doing some additional things like updating a side gate and removing an extra bush as we went along. Open Book did an amazing job on our full pool remodel. Our Pool was 20 years old and was leaking nearly 30k gallons of water. Our spa heater did not work. The deck was uneven and am hot trip hazard. It was fantastic working with Daniel & Rob from Openbook for our project. We built a brand new home so started with dirt surrounding our home and they designed the space beautifully to really pull the property together! Daniel consulted me on what we like and we loved his design, really made minimal changes from what he created. Rob managed the installation well the crew was fast but precise with the install. I have never had a better experience with a construction company than I had with Robert and Daniel at Openbook. They are the people who come and give you the estimate. They are the ones on site every day making sure the job goes well. They are the ones seeing it through to the end.Their work is impeccable, and they are a pleasure to work with.After having a contractor unable to finish my pool, I was in a time crunch to get it done for a party I was throwing. I am beyond lucky that I found Robert and Daniel. They spent time listening to what I wanted and how I wanted to use it. Within a a few days they had a gorgeous design for my pool. I was living in my home during the pool renovation and their team was completely polite and professional, Daniel and Rob were at my job site every day directing the work.They also found several structural mistakes that a previous contractor had made and fix them.One part of my pool had complicated tile, and asked if I could lay out the pattern myself. They got me a large board on a table and when I was done, transferred each piece over to the pool. I have no doubt that their tile team would’ve done a lovely job on their own but it was kind of them to let me lay it out.On top of all of that they finished my pool earlier than the deadline.I’ve never experienced a team of people so kind and willing to work with you. I will only be calling them for my construction projects going forward.Please ask them to show you photos of my project the transformation is unbelievable. Less

My previous experience with pool builders was a nightmare. The quotes were overly complicated, build times were incredibly long, and honesty appeared to be a forgotten practice. This was not the case with OpenBook! From the first day they came to review my property they were honest, knowledgeable and straightforward. While the their initial quote was in line with other builders, OpenBook assured me the cost would drop throughout the process as actual costs were submitted. After making several additions to my design, many times in the 11th hour (more to come in this), the final costs were still significantly below their initial quote! Back to the additions, one of the other key attributes that stood out with OpenBook was their agile approach to the build process. I never felt chained to a design decision because they were always willing to adjust on the fly. One example was the addition of a 3rd step after the rebar had already been laid and cement was about to put down. Within 12 hours the new step was added and the cement was not delayed. Lastly, they were incredibly fast! It took about two months from dig to cannonballs in the pool. I could not be happier with my decision to go with OpenBook! Less
